The sequence includes the following activities:
1.Brainstorming on the concept of a hero (2 minutes)
  Students write words or phrases that come to mind when they think of a hero.

2. Video screening & discussion on hero values (6 minutes)
  Watching a short video of Odysseus and Argos (2.5 minutes).
  Discussion – What values are highlighted in the scene? (4.5 minutes).

3. Reading short texts, answering questions & chat (16 minutes)
  Students, in groups, read short texts and
  answer questions (10 minutes).
  Brief presentation of answers (6 minutes).

4. Vocabulary – Flashcards on Quizlet (5 minutes)
  Students practice key hero-related vocabulary
  using flashcards.

5. Reading a short text & identifying key words (6
  minutes)
  Students identify and record key terms related
  to hero values.

6. Modern heroes (5 minutes)
  Students think and write about modern-day
  heroes and the values they represent.

7. 3-2-1 Exit Ticket (5 minutes)
  Students complete an exit ticket: 3 things they
  learned 2 questions they have 1 concept that
  impressed them

    Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα και καλά οργανωμένη ακολουθία. Μου άρεσε ο συνδυασμός της Οδύσσειας με την εκμάθηση της αγγλικής γλώσσας.
