Second Call for Presentations and Posters for LAMS Conference

The First International LAMS Conference will be held from December 6-8th in Sydney, Australia. We're now pleased to announce a second call for presentations and posters for this conference - submissions are due by October 9th.

While the deadline for full and concise papers has passed, we invite authors who would like to do a presentation or poster (without submitting an accompanying paper) to submit an abstract which is relevant to the LAMS conference themes:
- Designing the Future of Learning
- LAMS
- Learning Design
and any of the sub-themes - see http://lamsfoundation.org/lams2006/themes.htm

Authors should follow the guidelines and template at http://lamsfoundation.org/lams2006/papers.htm to submit their abstract (for presentations, follow the paper guidelines, but only include title, author and abstract details). Presentation times will be 15 or 30 minutes - as determined by the conference organisers and according to space within the program.

Abstracts are up to 200 words and due by October 9th (email to confpapers@lamsfoundation.org ).

For further details about the conference, see http://lamsfoundation.org/lams2006/index.htm

Important News for LAMS V2 Tools Developers

For software developers who are working on new activity tools for LAMS V2, we have made some important changes to the way that Authoring works with the rich text editor (FCKeditor). For more information about this change, see http://www.lamscommunity.org/dotlrn/clubs/technicalcommunity/forums/message-view?message%5fid=298222
