LAMS Conference in Singapore on 7th June 2011

A reminder that the 2011 Asia Pacific LAMS & Learning Design conference will be held in Singapore on June 7th, 2011 (workshops on June 6th).

The conference is jointly sponsored by Nanyang Technological University. It will be back to back with the E-Learning Forum Asia 2011 on June 8th and 9th which will make it ideal for those who wish to attend or present at both events.

We'll have presentation/paper submission details and the conference website ready in January, but please save the date now!

December Conferences Update

We had a very busy week of conferences in December - first LAMS was a Platinum Sponsor of the ASCILITE Conference on Dec 6-8th, then we had the 5th International LAMS & Learning Design Conference on the 9th, and the ALTC Medical project colloquium on the 10th. It was a great week - if exhausting!

At the LAMS conference we officially launched LessonLAMS, so this is now available for widespread adoption - see http://lessonlams.com/

Presentation slides and audio recordings will go up in the Program area of the LAMS and Medical conference websites in Jan/Feb where they are available.

LAMS International website updated & Book available

We've recently updated the LAMS International website with information about new products and systems (eg, LessonLAMS & Activity Planner) and simplified pricing.

There is also a new section for Books about LAMS, with the first book now available: Practical eTeaching Strategies for Predict – Observe – Explain, Problem-Based Learning and Role Plays by James Dalziel
For more details and to purchase, see - http://lamsinternational.com/resource/

We hope to publish more books on LAMS over the coming years!

Seasons Greetings

It's been another big year for LAMS, and we look forward to an exciting 2011. We wish everyone the very best for Christmas and the New Year.
