Hi everyone (:-},

I am new to LAMS so I need a bit of help from the community.
Has anyone used LAMS to teach Maths or mathematically oriented material? In particular I would like to see examples of how to set up mathematical problems where students need to work through and present their workings in a logical and orderly manner and not just where they need to enter the answer.

Another question is how to stop cheating in such an environment. What I mean by this is that if the student is required to enter an answer he/she may enter rubbish first or even simply ask for the answer (if that facility exists) I Saw this when I saw a demo of METRIC from Imperial College London. Any suggestions and idea would be greatly appreciated.
