Final Call for Submissions: 2nd European LAMS Conference in Cadiz, Spain - June 25th-27th, 2008

This is the final call for researchers and practitioners to submit presentation proposals (maximum 300 words) for the 2008 European LAMS Conference. Submissions are due by Friday, March 22nd and should be emailed to lamsconfadmin@lamsfoundation.org including a title, author contact details and an abstract. Upon submission acceptance, papers will be accepted up until May 1st. All papers (optional) will be double-blind peer reviewed and published in the conference proceedings. Authors will be notified of the outcome by late March. Presentations of up to 25 mins in length should be based on the themes of the conference. Timed to run just before the ED-MEDIA, ICICTE and ICALT Conference (so you can get value out of those airfares) the 2nd European LAMS Conference in Cadiz, Spain will be held from June 25th-27th, 2008. While this conference focuses on the use of LAMS, we also welcome examples of other approaches to Learning Design.

The conference program will also include LAMS workshops and an international pedagogical/activity planner meeting. The focus of the conference will be on practical benefits of Learning Design. What are the challenges for individuals and organisations? We share some of the lessons learnt about learning design in higher education, the K-12 sector,
vocational and professional education.
