EDUCAUSE 2006 LAMS presentation - podcast available

My presentation at EDUCAUSE 2006 was not just about LAMS - the first half was a general review of problems with LMS integration, and an attempt to categorise different types of integration challenges. The podcast of this presentation is now available (slides are also linked to this page), see

Reminder - European LAMS Conference

The 2007 European LAMS Conference will be held on July 5th at the University of Greenwich, London, UK. We've already had considerable interest and it promises to be a great event given the many exciting LAMS projects in the UK and elsewhere in Europe. See

A reminder - the deadline for presentation/paper submissions is May 7th.

In particular, it includes improved installation and some bug fixes for languages other than English.

LAMS presentation for Medbiquitous Healthcare Education conference

I'll be making a brief trip to the US in mid April to present at the Medbiquitous Healthcase Education conference - see
http://www.medbiq.org/events/conferences/annual_conference/2007/index.html

Structured collaborative learning has been an important tool in recent medical education, especially in the form of Problem Based Learning (PBL), so I look forward to discussing how this relates to LAMS and the general concepts of Learning Design.

I'll also be visiting the University of Michigan on April 19th to talk about LAMS and explore further collaboration.
